Membership Requirements
To apply for SARACCA membership, please ensure the following documentation and compliance requirements are in place before submitting your application.
Completed Probationary Application Form
Completed SEIFSA Form
Most recent Audited Financial Statements
OR
A formal letter from your registered auditor confirming financial standing
Valid SAQCC Gas Licence Registration (Category B Level)
Proof of registration with the Compensation Fund (COIDA)
Proof of registration with the relevant Bargaining Council:
- MEIBC (Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council), or
- NBCEI (National Bargaining Council for the Electrical Industry)
(Required for all technical staff)
Photographic evidence of:
- Refrigerant recovery pumps
- Vacuum pumps
(Equipment must comply with recognised industry standards)
Valid Tax Clearance Certificate

Levy Payment Guide
SARACCA membership levies are structured to ensure fairness, sustainability, and continued support to members across the HVAC and refrigeration industry.
This guide explains how levies are calculated, when payments are due, and how turnover affects contributions.
1. How Levies Are Calculated
Membership levies are calculated based on annual company turnover.
- The levy calculation rate remains 0.0007 of turnover
- A minimum levy applies
- Contributions are tiered according to turnover brackets
- VAT is applicable at 15%

2. Minimum Contribution Payment
As approved by NEC (13 September 2024), the minimum levy contribution:
- Is payable at the beginning of each financial year, or
- Upon approval of a new membership application

3. Quarterly Turnover Confirmation
To ensure accurate levy contributions:
- Member turnover will be confirmed quarterly
- If turnover exceeds the minimum bracket, a top-up levy invoice will be issued
- Once per year, members must complete an Update Form

4. Small-to-Medium vs Anker Members
Membership categories are structured according to turnover levels:
- Small-to-Medium Members
- Anker Members
Contribution tiers increase proportionally with company turnover, as detailed in the official levy schedule Levy Payment Guide.
5. Important Notes
- Levies are exclusive of VAT (unless stated otherwise in the schedule).
- All levy payments must be settled in accordance with invoice terms.
- Outstanding levies may affect access to certain member benefits.
- Updated turnover information must be accurate and supported by auditor confirmation.
