This link to the SAQCC (Gas) web site provides users of refrigeration practitioners’ access to the data base of registered practititioners. A client would be able to verify the category registration of a technician working on an air conditioning or refrigeration installation. The categories of registration are:
- Safe handling of containers
- Small air conditioning refrigeration practitioner (this practitioner is not authorized to sign a Certificate of Compliance).
- Commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Practitioner.
- Industrial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Practitioner
- Automotive Air Conditioning Practitioner
- Transport Refrigeration Practitioner
- Marine Refrigeration Practitioner
The SAQCC (Gas) website also has an incident report form for reporting poor performance by a technician for investigation. The Code of Conduct and the Disciplinary Procedure are also accessible on the SAQCC (Gas) Web Site.
